French: Le Mot du Jour - Volume 2 and a giveaway!

I love all the resources I create, but one of my favorite sets is Le Mot du Jour. The reason I like it so much is because it helps teachers create a classroom routine. I know that to be true because they have told me through feedback on TpT and via email.

I've had a lovely customer contact me about the possibility of creating a second set of worksheets and that's what I have done. I'll show you the new set in a second :)

I've also had one teacher leave me feedback pointing out how much printing the resource might require, so I thought about doing this post to give you some ideas on how to save up on copying.

There are a couple of ways:

1. Set up your printer to print multiple pages and select "two per sheet / landscape". You should end up with something like the picture below.

As you can see, there are two "word of the day" worksheets on the same page. Even though they are, of course, scaled down, they are still big enough for students to work with.

NOTE: I really wish I could give you specific instructions on how to set YOUR specific printer up, but every printer is different. Look for something called "settings" or "options", then "layout" or  something similar.

2. Insert sheets into page protectors and have students use dry erase markers. You can later wipe off the writing and the worksheets will be ready to be used again. Check out the picture below:

That's actually the way I'd choose to use them. You'd still have to make copies, BUT they should last you for a few years if properly stored. You might have to change the page protectors every now and then, though.
Consider setting up binders with the worksheets inserted into page protectors.

And now let me show you my new baby: Le Mot du Jour - Volume 2!

Le Mot du Jour - Volume 2 by Lucy S.

It's got more than 150 new "Word of the Day" worksheets for grade 1-2 students to work with.
Most of the teachers who got my first set have used it in French Immersion classrooms.
The pictures on this post show sheets from the new set.
